A description of the High-Level Special Committee created in 2007. The Committee chaired by the Secretary of the Interior is also composed of the Secretaries of Foreign Affairs, National Defense, Navy, Public Security, Finance, Communications And Transport, Attorney General of the Republic and CISEN. The creation of the Committee aims at coordinating and complementing the international obligations of the Mexican State in matters of terrorist threats and the production and trafficking of weapons of mass destruction.
